Why Queen?

WHY QUEEN?

If you've never heard of the band Queen, you've been living under a rock and you need to look them up. They are the best rock band in the world! Their music represents all the band members and gets the crowd pumping every time they hear them. I've chosen to talk about Queen becuase they're one of a handful of 70's classic rock bands that crossed over in to music you can dance to. Other great stuff about Queen is that no member was the boss, they worked their way up to the top by releasing a gem of an album. No matter how many time I've been listening to their song or albums, I'd still listen to them over and over and they would make me feel much better in my bad days. Another reason why I chose to talk about Queen was because of the way to discover the band that became my favourite group of music. It was one year ago, more or less. In math class, we were just the teacher, a classmate and I because there was a strike. And while we were doing our homework, the teacher put the song "Show must go on". I knew that song but, in those moments, I had no idea that the band that sang that song was called Queen. The teacher was surprised that I didn't know who Queen was and he started to explained to us the story of the group and also the story about that song. And from that moment on, Queen became my favourite group of music and that song, nowadays, means a lot to me because when I get home after a sad day, I always listen to that music and my self-esteem improves a lot. And that is why Queen is my favourite band and why "Show must go on" is my favourite song.
